I was squished up against the wall of the temple. It was hot, bodies were sweating. The smell of joss sticks filled the air, the music was mesmerising. The devotees chanted and made way for the team of people carrying the God as they rocked it and swayed it into position. Prayers were said and blessings were made. It was such a privilege to share in this celebration and everyone there were so kind and generous to the stranger with a camera!

Photography of Film & TV composer Stuart Hancock's private showcase evening event with live performance at The Forge, Camden. Stuart performed a live set on piano with string quartet, featuring a chamber arrangement of '@IvyBean104' (singer Eloise Secker reprising the twitter song from his British-Composer-Award-winning Snapshot Songs), followed by a themes from his film and TV work (Picturehouse, The Desert Treasure, Atlantis, The Last Belle and Underground).

The Guildhall is a magnificent venue with its Gothic architecture and amazing arched ceiling in the Great Hall. I was able to go up on the balcony and out on the roof (exciting!) to get some really great shots looking down on the event
