VENICE

Magical, romantic Venice is timeless and beautiful, with its crumbling brickwork, fading paint, and blue waters gently ebbing and flowing by. In the warren of streets away from the tourist spots you find churches full of old masters, tiny humpbacked-bridges and shafts of light and shadow that make the waterways glitter.

Wander the streets, get lost, watch the world go by - Aperol Spritz in hand, visit the bookshop, and if you get time take a trip out on the lagoon to visit the islands, the city's cemetery, see the colourful houses of Burano, and to view Venice from afar.
